Aegean AirlinesGreek Aegean Airlines may establish the soon-to-launch Athens-Baku route in autumn and winter, Greeko-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce President George Papadopoulos said during a recent flight presentation, according to Trend News Agency.

Aegean Airlines will launch the Athens-Baku direct flight from 28 May to 29 October. The flights will be made twice a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The Consul of the Greek embassy in Azerbaijan, Maria Katsanevaki, said the embassy would create all the necessary conditions for the tourists to visit Greece.

“Obtaining a visa is an administrative necessity, but despite this the Greek side will help Azerbaijani tourists,” she said.

After visiting Greece, tourists from Azerbaijan can make sure that the situation in Greece is not so difficult because of the impact of the debt crisis in Europe as it is reported by the media, Trend News Agency said.
