HYDRA_BEACH_01_HYDRA_IN_01_Barceló Hotels & Resorts, the world-renowned hotel and resort chain with 142 hotels worldwide with a total capacity of 38,000 beds, has come to Greece and will open the doors of the Barceló Hydra Beach Resort, located in Ermioni of the Peloponnese, on 1 May.

“Our investment in Barceló Hydra Beach Resort and the local community, is proof of our trust in the takeoff of Greek tourism and the creation of a new and friendly business environment,” the resort’s general manager, Josef A. Url, said.

HYDRA_HEALTH_02_Barceló’s investment has completely reinvented the former Hydra Beach Hotel and offers visitors a modern seaside resort in close distance to Athens with access to three separate beaches in the Hydra Gulf, majestic views of the island and gardens of 100,000 square meters with lush vegetation.

The resort is equipped with 260 rooms, 79 bungalows and 4 suites including an Imperial Suite with its own pool.

Guests can choose from three separate beaches, 2 swimming pools (indoor heated with waterfall and outdoor), 4 tennis and 2 football courts and a special area (Mini Club) with activities for children.

There is also a diving center and watersports center, 4 restaurants, 3 bars, an outdoor amphitheater, a conference room for 500 people and a marina for boats.

HYDRA_GAST_01_The Barceló Hydra Beach Resort is located within walking distance to archaeological sites such as the ancient theater of Epidaurus that hosts the Greek Festival, Mycenae, Tiryns, Nafplion, Argos and dozens of others.

The resort offers accommodation with many packages at competitive prices that include All Inclusive, Half Board and B&B.

“We are confident that our hotel will become a magnet for tourists from around the world who wish to experience authentic Greece,” the resort’s general manager said.
