Italian cruise giant Costa Crociere included Heraklion, Crete, on the list of international cruise ports that attended the company’s workshop held today, 11 April, at its headquarters in Genoa, Italy.

The workshop entitled “Stakeholder Think Tank Day” brought together the cruise line’s business partners.

Heraklion Port Authority was represented by its president and CEO, Ioannis Bras.

“It is a great honor for Heraklion and myself to participate among 20 guests from around the world and be able to promote Greek positions on Costa Crociere’s future strategy,” Mr. Bras said.

Heraklion Port made tremendous progress as a homeport for Costa Crociere last summer.
