Region Of Western Greece presents new “brand” The logo of the Region of Western Greece contains a part of an olive wreath (ancient symbol of peace and life, refers to Ancient Olympia and culture), an abstract representation of the Rion-Antirrion bridge (a global technological achievement and a landmark for the region that combines the region’s history with a cultural element) and a blue circle (the circle has no beginning or end and states that the region is a destination for all seasons). The colors of the logo (blue and white) are elements of Hellenism that are also meant to highlight the dominant colors of Western Greece’s natural beauty. The slogan “Full of Contrast!” aims to show that the Region of Western Greece is a destination “full” and complete where its value is a result from the composition of its contradictions (classic and modern, ancient wonders and new technological achievements, sea and mountain, etc.).
