Minoan Group Takes Over Scottish Classic Travel

Untitled-16Travel and leisure company Minoan Group Plc recently announced the completion of its acquisition of Classic Travel Limited, trading as Classic4Travel.

Travel agency Classic4Travel has been established in Scotland for over 30 years and services both the leisure and business markets and works with many companies, including multinational Shell, O2, the Finsbury plc and Wolseley Group.

Classic has a turnover of 3.2 million euros (£2.7 million), offices in Uddingston and Helensburgh in Scotland and a growing network of home based travel agents operating from London, Leeds, Lisburn, Edinburgh, Belfast and the Falkirk and a travel agency Lotus Travel that specializes in exclusive gay resorts.

In its effort to enhance its services in the tourism sector, Minoan Group has also acquired the Golf Concierge brand that generates revenue from the sale of specialist world-class golfing breaks to both UK inbound and outbound tourists, offering more than 50 courses and associated resorts across 17 countries.
