The funds for the project’s first phase were secured by donations from private enterprises and professional organizations. The scope of the project is for gastronomy to be one of the key reasons for tourists choosing Greece as their holiday destination. Marketing Plan for Greek tourism – Phase 1 The project’s first phase includes the creation of a “culinary portfolio” on a nationwide scale, the launch of a bilingual (Greek/English) Greek gastronomy portal that will include all sections of the “culinary chain” of Greek cuisine from the production of quality raw materials and products to catering and hospitality.
