Trade Associations - Gov Greek Officials Prepare For A Safe Tourism Season by GTP editing team 15 May 2013 written by GTP editing team 15 May 2013 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 6 The Greek Tourism Ministry and the Ministry of Public Order will hold a series of meetings with regional and local authorities that will involve safety issues in order to best prepare for the country’s peak tourism season. The meetings will involve issues concerning tourist police services, illegal trade in tourist areas, noise pollution and passport control. The regional meetings will take place in May and June and involve Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni, Minister of Public Order Minister Nikos Dendias, the general secretaries of both ministries, prefects, vice governors, mayors, police captains and tourism professionals in each region.
