B2B events Crete To Shine In Athens This Weekend by GTP editing team 22 May 2013 written by GTP editing team 22 May 2013 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 7 The local products, traditional dishes and tourism services of Crete will be displayed 24-27 May 2013 at the TAE KWON DO stadium in Athens, at the exhibition “Crete: The Great Meeting” organized by Promexpo and the Region of Crete. The exhibition will be mixed, commercial and public, with particular emphasis on B2B contacts between Cretan entrepreneurs and companies (Greek producers of agricultural and livestock products and tourism enterprises) operating across the country and abroad, and will cover an area of 3,700 square meters. Some 200 exhibitors/producers have already registered and will showcase their products and services to the Greek market and overseas visitors. The exhibition will include cultural and musical events that will show the rich culture of Crete. In addition, on Saturday 25 May a competition of Cretan cuisine will take place with the theme “The most imaginative Cretan dish.” Conference On the sidelines of the exhibition, a conference entitled “Production – Standardization – Gastronomy – Tourism: A United Production Complex” will be held on Saturday 25 May, 4-7pm. The coordinator of the conference will be Former Tourism Minister Nikos Skoulas. Information The exhibition will be open from 24 to 27 May on Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 11am to 9pm and Monday from 11am to 7pm at the TAE KWON DO stadium in Faliro, Athens.
