Pelion To Hold Outdoor Activities Festival

The Tourism & Development Association of Tsagarada is holding the 1st Sea & Mountain Sports Festival, a five-day adventure that combines relaxing holidays in Tsagarada, Pelion, with the excitement of taking part in spectacular extreme sports activities.

The festival will take place 5-9 June 2013 around the Tsagarada area of Eastern Pelion.

Eleven outdoor activities will be available, catering for all ages, tastes and abilities: rock climbing, canyoning, mountain biking, sea kayaking, flying fox, archery, scuba diving, horseback riding, trekking, mountain running and orientation competition.

During the festival there will also be many more thematic events available , such as meteorology and orientation seminars, first aid courses and film shows, as well as music events and parties.

Over 50 local businesses will offer special discounts on accommodation.

The festival is organized with the support of the Thessaly Prefecture, the Municipality of Zagoras-Mouresiou, the Chambers of Commerce, Hotels and Restaurants of Magnesia and the participation of the Greek Rescue Team, and the Voluntary Fire Brigade who will cover the safety aspects of the events.
