Travelport Extends Transavia Netherlands’ Reach To Greek Agents

Travelport, a leading provider of critical transaction processing solutions and data for the global travel industry, and Transavia Airlines, a Dutch low cost carrier, recently announced an extension of the carrier’s Dutch content for distribution to Travelport-connected agencies in Greece.

“We are pleased to be able to extend our GDS offering to Greek agents and look forward to continuing to strengthen our long term relationship with Travelport,” Rob van Dam, Vice President Sales of Transavia Airlines, said.

Transavia Airlines made its GDS debut with Travelport in 2012 and since then has extended their offering to include routes to multiple destinations in North Africa and Europe, including Greece.

“With more than six million passengers traveling to a vast number of destinations, Transavia Airlines is an important airline partner for us so we are pleased to now be able to offer this content to our Greek travel agency customers,” Leo Zotos, Country Manager for Greece, Cyprus and Israel at Travelport said.
