They also took a ride on traditional carriages to the island’s old harbor. MidEast Travel, based in Athens, recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. “While celebrating 30 years of successful operation, we are increasing our efforts to support incoming tourism to Greece,” MidEast’s managing director, Katerina Mousbeh, said. According to MidEast Travel, the recent trip to Spetses is the company’s fourth familiarization trip organized in the last three months to promote Greece to prominent figures abroad. “In regards to Spetses, I can only agree with the owner of the Poseidonion Grand Hotel, Mr. Vordonis, that the island can serve as a meeting point for leading figures thanks to its positive energy and history,” Mrs. Mousbeh said.
