Cyprus Airways Announces Route Suspensions, Other Changes

Cyprus Airways Airbus A320-231 5B-DBC Tefkros (30964)Cyprus Airways recently announced changes to its flight schedule in Greece within the framework of a restructuring plan that includes measures aimed towards the airline’s recovery. The changes will take effect from 1 July 2013.

Domestic Routes

From 1 July 2013 the following routes will be suspended:

  • Athens-Thessaloniki-Athens
  • Athens-Heraklion-Athens
  • Athens-Rhodes-Athens

From 1 July 2013 alterations will be made to the following routes:

  • Thessaloniki-Heraklion-Thessaloniki: six flights per week (daily except Tuesday)
  • Thessaloniki-Rhodes-Thessaloniki: three flights per week (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday)
  • Heraklion-Rhodes-Heraklion: three flights per week (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday)

International Routes

  • Athens-Larnaca-Athens: three flights daily
  • Thessaloniki-Larnaca-Thessaloniki: six flights per week (daily except Tuesday)
  • Heraklion-Larnaca-Heraklion: three flights per week (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday)
