familyThe Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) is expected to announce the “Tourism for All” discounted vacation program in the next few days.

The program provides vouchers for social groups with mid and low income to take holidays in tourism establishments everywhere in Greece. It includes discounts at Greek hotels and other lodges of all categories that obtain the GNTO seal.

The “Tourism for All” program for 2013-2014 will be covered by a budget of five million euros and focus mainly on the elderly and persons with disabilities.

The program will be divided into two sub-programs: July-December 2013 (3.2 million euros) and January-May 2014 (1.8 million euros).

Although full details have yet to be released, reports said that the program will be supported by a “social message.”
