The festival kicked off on 21 May and was an opportunity for Athenians to discover, explore and enjoy French beverages, foods and art de la table through a series of events such as cooking competitions, a conference on food during antiquity, wine tasting, pastry seminars and literary café. Many representatives of the Greek business and arts world and French community in Greece attended the closing ceremony. UBIFRANCE, the commercial section of the French Embassy, the French School and Sofitel Athens Airport Hotel organized the 3rd Festival of French Gastronomy and Art de la Table in Athens, under the auspices of the French Embassy in Greece.
