Aegean Launches Seasonal London-Athens Route

Aegean_IMG_2353Aegean Airlines recently announced it will begin flights to Athens from London Stansted Airport commencing on 11 July 2013.

The seasonal route will operate three times per week to the Greek capital and continue onwards with through flights to the islands of Kos (as of 11 July), Corfu (as of 13 July) and Rhodes (as of 15 July).

The new route departs from London Stansted airport on Thursday at 17.15, Saturday at 22.05 and Monday at 12.45.  Flight time to Athens is approximately 3.55 minutes. Flights depart from Athens on Thursday at 14.30, Saturday at 19.20 and Monday at 10.00.

The route will operate for two months until 16 September 2013. The flights will be operated using a brand new Airbus A320 168-seat aircraft.

Aegean has an introductory offer for travelers who make bookings until 10 July.

The airline already has three daily flights from London Heathrow to Athens.
