Basketball Camp To Launch At Costa Navarino

Slam Dunk winner and All Star Game MVP, Brent Petway

The “Brent Petway & Friends” basketball camp led by Slam Dunk winner and All Star Game MVP, Brent Petway, will launch in the premises of the Costa Navarino resort on 8-12 July.

Brent Petway and his famous friends (international basketball players, European champions, members of the national team and famous coaches) will share their basketball secrets with fans, guests of The Westin Resort, Costa Navarino and The Romanos.

The five-day basketball camp is exclusively for kids in the morning (10am-3pm) while an open program will be available for all ages in the afternoon (5:30-8pm).

Basketball fans will learn the rules and techniques of basketball and develop specific physical and racing skills. Training will be held by both Brent Petway and Rethymnon coach Thanassis Yaples.

Special guest

The first guest star of the “Brent Petway & Friends” basketball camp will be the winner of the Alexander Gomelsky Trophy for 2013, Euroleague Coach of the Year Yiorgos Bartzokas.

Mr. Bartzokas will teach, speak and share basketball experiences to all participating in the basketball camp in the indoor basketball court of the Costa Navarino that meets FIBA standards.
