Company updates Meeting Point Hellas Announces Future Plans For Greece by GTP editing team 9 July 2013 written by GTP editing team 9 July 2013 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 9 Destination management company Meeting Point Hellas (MPH) expects to service some 350.000 guests in Greece this year and aims to offer a different product mix, go international and focus on offering services in countries such as Italy, Turkey and Croatia while increasing its focus on cruising. The company, based in Heraklion, Crete, is a subsidiary of Meeting Point International (MPI) and a joint venture with Greek company K. Badouvas SA. Roula Jouny, CEO MPI Group According to a press release, after one year of operation, MPI Group and K. Badouvas SA are now in the process of re-designing their cooperation in order to make the MPH organization more in line with rest MPI’s Group standards and functions. “The new basis of this venture will be finalised within the next few days,” MPH said. The company has announced a change of the MPH Board Structure, as the Board will now consist of Roula Jouny and Ioannis John Kent. Mrs. Jouny, CEO of MPI Group, will keep the corporate role in the MPH Board and Mr. Kent will assume the role of Executive Director of the Board. MPH moves to Athens According to MPH’s plans, the corporate head office will be based in Athens as of 1 November 2013. The Heraklion office on Crete will remain the company’s main strategic hub and continue to offer all services throught the MPH offices in Rhodes, Corfu, Kos and Karpathos. Meeting Point Hellas currently operates in 17 Greek destinations including Crete, Corfu, Chalkidiki, Rhodes, Kos, Karpathos, Athens, Kalamata, Kefalonia, Samos, Thassos, Lesvos, Santorin, Mykonos, Parga, Naxos, Paros and Zakynthos.
