Flight Disruption Expected 16 July Due To Work Stoppage In Greece

AIAPassengers planning to travel on Tuesday 16 July 2013 are advised to confirm flight schedules as Greek air traffic controllers will participate in a general strike called by the country’s main private and public sector umbrella unions, GSEE and ADEDY.

According to an announcement by the Federation οf Associations οf Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (OSYPA), the air traffic controllers will walk off the job between noon and 4pm.

OSYPA said only emergency flights will operate during the work stoppage.
