This year, the Greek island ranked fourth, rising two places from last year. New York-based Travel + Leisure magazine conducts the annual World’s Best poll on its readers from 1 December to 1 April of the following year. For 2013, Palawan in the Philippines debuted at No. 1 with a score of 95.04. Boracay in the Philippines, which topped the list last year, landed in second place with a score of 93.58. Maui in Hawaii ranked third (89.83), followed by Santorini in Greece (89.37), Prince Edward Island in Canada (89.23), Bali in Indonesia (88.7), Kauai in Hawaii (88.5), Sicily in Italy (88.06), Koh Samui in Thailand (87.43), and Galapagos (86.95).
