According to data, during the January-June period, Greek overnights in hotels of Thessaloniki increased by 6.67 percent to 452,848 compared with the same period last year. In 2012 the northern Greek city welcomed 424,551 Greeks. Moreover, in absolute numbers, the total of overnights in Thessaloniki’s hotels during the first six months of the year added up to 812,040 compared to 860,533 overnights last year, which shows a drop of 5.2 percent. Below is the top 10 of nationalities that visited Thessaloniki during the first six months of 2013.
