Amadeus Partners With Munich, Copenhagen Airports On Airport IT Portfolio

Amadeus, a leading technology partner for the global travel industry, announced that it has reached agreement with Munich and Copenhagen airports to jointly work in the development and implementation of two new airport IT solutions.

Munich AirportIn collaboration with Munich Airport, Amadeus will launch its Airport Sequence Manager solution, which is designed to unlock existing airport capacity, with an optimised departure sequence.

Airport Sequence Manager is at the heart of Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM), which enhances the passenger experience by optimising operations.

CopenhagenAlso, working with Copenhagen Airport, Amadeus will develop its Airport Fixed Resource Optimiser. This solution is designed to determine the best possible fixed resource allocation against the flight schedule, enhancing the passenger experience with a speedier turnaround process, or an easier and quicker transfer.

“Technology has the potential to transform the efficiency of airport operations, ensuring decision making across partners is more collaborative, more accurate and based on a view of customer and operational requirements from across the travel chain,” commented John Jarrell, Head of Airport IT, Amadeus.

“We could not imagine better partners for the launch of our new solutions than Munich and Copenhagen, two of the most innovative airports in the world today and we are confident that working jointly with these two world class players will result in outstanding solutions for the airport community,” he added.
