ChandrisCorfu and Dassia Chandris, hotels of the Chandris group on Corfu Island, were honored for the fourth consecutive year with the environmentally-related distinction “Green Key” by the Greek Society for the Protection of Nature.

The Chandris hotels were honored for their sensitivity to issues concerning the protection of the environment and their commitment to spread awareness to their customers, suppliers and partners.

theGreenKey_rgbAccording to Chandris, a major part of the group’s policy evolves around spreading environmental awareness and practices throughout Greece and aiming for sustainable development and its international promotion.

“Green Key” is an international program that awards an eco label to touristic units that follow the relevant criteria. These criteria focus on environmental management and education of the unit and cover areas that include energy and water consumption, waste management, the use of environmentally friendly products, personal cleanliness and quality of consumable goods.
