Company updates Travelport Cements Operator Partnerships In Lebanon by GTP editing team 28 August 2013 written by GTP editing team 28 August 2013 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 10 New multi-year agreements secured with Worldspan and Galileo Global Distribution Systems (GDS) distributors Travelport, a leading distribution services and e-commerce provider for the global travel industry, has announced the renewal of its long-term distribution agreements for Galileo and Worldspan GDS platforms in Lebanon. Under the new multi-year deals, Gate 7 – who have been representing Worldspan in Lebanon for the past 15 years – and Travelport-Lebanon, appointed to represent Galileo since 2009, will continue to distribute Travelport products to the Lebanese travel industry. Over the past 22 years, Travelport has established itself as the leading GDS provider in Lebanon. In 2012, Travelport solidified its commitment to the country with the establishment of a regional Levant headquarters in Beirut to oversee the growing travel agency network across Lebanon, Iraq, Turkey, Jordan and Syria.
