Tinos To Host “Water Is Necessary for Life, WIN4LIFE” Conference

Views and ideas about water management, advanced wastewater treatment processes and sustainable brine management practices will be exchanged at the international conference “Water Is Necessary for Life, WIN4LIFE” to be held on Tinos Island this month by the National Technical University of Athens in collaboration with the Municipality of Tinos.

The “Water Is Necessary for Life, WIN4LIFE” international conference will take place 19-21 September 2013 at the Cultural Foundation of Tinos.

Many notable contributors in the field of water resources management and wastewater treatment from Greece and abroad will attend the conference.

The conference will include oral and poster presentation sessions and will highlight the importance of water as a commodity, especially in island areas. Greek translation will be available throughout the conference.

“Water Is Necessary for Life, WIN4LIFE” is organized in the framework of the SOL-BRINE project which is co-financed by the LIFE+ Programme of the European Commission.
