Yiorgos Amvrazis

Yiorgos Amvrazis has been appointed as the administrative director of the SETE Institute (InSETE), which will operate by the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE).

InSETE – resulting from SETE’s role as social partner – is planned to operate soon and will focus on improving the quality of tourism training and offered services.

Mr. Amvrazis is the general director of the Hellenic Federation of Hoteliers.

InSETE

Through InSETE, the association will handle a percentage of funds from the account for employment and vocational training LAEK (a fund set up for in-company training by Greek Manpower Employment Organisation-OAED) to launch training and certification programs throughout Greece for tourism enterprises and especially small businesses.

According to reports, INSETE will be composed of four shareholders: SETE (80 percent), the Hellenic Federation of Hoteliers (10 percent), the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (five percent) and the Hellenic Federation of Rented Rooms and Apartments (five percent).

SETE was announced “social partner” by Labor Minister Yiannis Vroutsis in January.
