Amateur Wine Contest To Launch In Drama, Greece

Amateur winemakers are invited to submit their wines for judging in a wine tasting event to take place later this month in Drama, northeastern Greece.

The Association of Vine and Wine Idonidas Earth and the Drama International Short Film Festival are holding the 9th Amateur Wine & Spirits Contest on 19-20 September 2013 at the Xenia Hotel in Drama.

Program

• Day 1: Thursday 19 September: Amateur Wine & Spirits tasting at Xenia Hotel
• Day 2: Friday 20 September: Award ceremony for the winning wines at Theatraki Agias Varvaras “Socrates Dimitriadis” – A reception will follow with local food and wine from the region’s wineries.
