Greece is Sixth European Country With Cheap Hotel Rates This Month

euros_walletGreece was found to have cheaper online hotel prices for the month of September when compared to its competitors such as Turkey, Spain and Cyprus, according to online hotel search engine Trivago.

Trivago’s recent data showed that the online average price per night for a double room in Greece this month (103 euros) is almost the same as last year.

This is the sixth cheapest price on Trivago’s list that includes hotel prices from 24 European countries.

In Turkey, online hotel prices this month are more expensive by 18.5 percent (122 euros), in Cyprus by 10.7 percent and in Spain by one percent compared to prices in Greece.

The country with the most expensive hotel rates this month is Switzerland (191 euros) and with the cheapest rates is Bulgaria (55 euros).

For the January-September period, hotel prices in Greece dropped by nine percent to 90.8 euros per night compared to the same period last year.
