On 14 September 2013 at 4pm, some of the world’s top Parkour athletes from France, Sweden, the United States, the Netherlands, Russia and Greece will compete on the rooftops of Firostefani village. Santorini was selected in 2011 as the top destination for freerunning. Just imagine: little white snowdrop houses with curved dome roofs cascading down the Caldera cliffs… and of all of a sudden a bunch of people come flying through the air, bouncing from rooftop to rooftop! And all this to the setting of the sun, the Aegean Sea and of course the volcano!
