In a statement, Mrs. Kefalogianni said current data showed good signs for Greek tourism and that the Tourism Ministry will continue its communication strategy to maximize the tourist flow. “We have connected with the market and established contacts with the strongest travel agencies that affect tourism on a global level… We continue to strengthen Greece’s name abroad,” she said. The tourism minister called for the support of tourism professionals and, among other things, requested for their additional support to the VAT reduction on Greek food services.
