Oslo-based communication agency North Events will be Greece’s sole representative at the exhibition and will host a booth including a limited number of Greece’s finest destinations.

Greece, according to latest statistics and reports from the Polish outbound sector, holds the first position amongst several rival destinations.

According to North Events, although Greece ranks first in charter flights from Poland to holiday destinations, garnering 22.5 percent total market share, the country has lost a significant number of Polish tourists (some 120,000 visitors) since 2011.

“This is a clear indication of the need to re-establish and strengthen Greece’s relations with Poland,” the agency said.

The most popular Greek destinations chosen by Polish tourists include Heraklion, Rhodes, Corfu, Zakynthos, Chania and Kos.

TT WarsawLast year, TT Warsaw attracted some 20,000 guests and 664 exhibitors from 64 countries (34 international participations).

According to data, visitors at TT Warsaw 2012 reached an approximate of almost 20.000, counting some 11,000 business clients, over 300 press representatives and 648 VIP’s including 72 ambassadors and representatives of the diplomatic corps.
