New Hotel To Host Elite Marathon Runners

Some of the world’s top athletes participating in the 31st Athens Classic Marathon this November will be hosted by New Hotel located in the city center.

The hotel, located very close to Syntagma Square and within walking distance from the city’s main attractions, will also be the press center of the organization.

New Hotel is a member of the Yes! Hotels chain.

Countdown to Athens Classic Marathon 2013

Less than 50 days are left for the 31st Athens Classic Marathon to take place on Sunday 10 November 2013, along with the 5 and 10km Road Races, as well as the 1000m Kids Run and the Special Olympics Hellas race to be held along the Marathon course this year.

Since 1982, the Marathon has been dedicated to Gregoris Lambrakis, the athlete, scientist and member of parliament, who in the decade of ’60s, became a symbol of Humanitarian Rights and Peace.
