The best of Greece – tourism, gastronomy and culture – will be hosted under one roof next year in Sweden at the first dedicated travel and taste fair for Greece “Grekland Panorama.”

Grekland Panorama will take place 14-16 February 2014 at venue Globe Arenas, Annexete, located in the heart of Stockholm, the buzzing capital of Scandinavia. Globe Arenas is visited daily by tens of thousands of people.

The fair will feature a number of Greek hotels, travel agencies, destinations, services, real estate, traditional Greek gastronomy, tastings and more.

The main aim of Grekland Panorama is to give an innovative and dynamic presentation of Greece and its tourism product to tourism professionals and the public in the Nordic markets.

According to data, over 1.5 million visitors from the Nordic markets visit Greece on an annual basis.

The first day of the fair, 14 February, will be open exclusively for professionals. Scheduled B2B meetings will take place between Greek tourism professionals and tour operators, travel agencies and airlines that are active in the Nordic markets.

Later in the evening, the official inauguration ceremony of Grekland Panorama will take place. Organizers promise a “Greek Night” with special guests that will include celebrities, politicians and representatives of the tourism and business world of Sweden.

On 15-16 February the fair will be open to the public (free of charge) who will enter an exhibition space filled with images, sounds and flavors of Greece, with numerous parallel events, competitions and activities for all.

Grekland Panorama is organized by North Events, a company specializing in promoting Greek tourism, gastronomy and culture in the Scandinavian market.

The fair is supported by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, the Hellenic Federation of Hoteliers, the Greek Tourism Ministry, the Greek National Tourism Organization and leading tour operators in Scandinavia such as Apollo Kuoni, TUI Fritidsresor, VING, Airtours, Tema Resor etc.
