Hilton Athens Supports “The Ark Of The World”

This winter, guests at the Hilton Athens Hotel will make a big difference to children in need through the Europe-wide fundraising campaign “Small Change Big Difference” that launched on 1 October and will run until 31 December.

The campaign invites Hilton guests to add an optional 1 euro to their room bill during their stay. All proceeds raised from the campaign will be donated to Greek NGO “The Ark of the World” (O Kivotos tou Kosmou in Greek). The “Ark of the World” takes care of children that have been experiencing abandonment, racism and social exclusion.

“Small Change Big Difference” is an initiative of the “Hilton in the Community Foundation,” the charitable arm of the Hilton family of hotels, which was founded in 2000 in order to support children in need.

The Foundation’s core costs are funded by Hilton Hotels, so every net pound raised goes directly to good causes. All funds raised by hotels in a country will benefit young people in that same country.

The campaign will run in 139 hotels in Europe.
