The fam trip will be held by the Municipality of Symi and the South Aegean Region in an effort to further promote Symi in the Turkish tourism market. During their stay, the guests will be given the grand tour of the Dodecanese island and will meet with local organizations and entrepreneurs to discuss the launch of successful cooperations to promote the island as a prominent tourism destination in Turkey. The fam trip will end on Tuesday 8 October. The Turkish journalists invited on Symi represent wide-circulation media outlets such as Cumhuriyet Haftasonu, Food and Travel dergisi and Hyrriyet Daily News. The fam trip is held under the auspices of the South Aegean Region and is part of a plan to promote the tourism profile of the Aegean.
