Cargo Flights Cargo flights will be available through scheduled flights and/or chartered flights for this purpose. Medivac The company’s seaplanes have the potential to also be used for patient transportation. The company has already signed a deal with the Athens Ambulance company for patient transfers between the Greek islands, ports and lakes that will have the appropriate infrastructure. Hellenic Seaplanes initially announced the aim to create local networks (waterways) to connect central Greece with the country’s islands and develop new destinations through safe and fast seaplane routes, following the voting of legislation allowing for the establishment of seaplane harbors. The company’s primary target is to develop and create the appropriate infrastructure – waterways – so they can offer the required operational support to seaplanes. To achieve this goal, Hellenic Seaplanes has already come in contact with 200 municipalities and port authorities throughout Greece that require this sort of transportation and can accomodate seaplanes at their ports. Due to the difficulty of times, the company has announced that it will undertake the cost and design of a large number of waterways. Hellenic Seaplanes aims to build 100 waterways in Greece by the end of 2013 and another 100 in 2014.
