“bakù” Restaurant Reopens In Athens After Summer Break

baku_the margi 1After a brief break for the summer, bakù restaurant, within The Margi Hotel in the Vouliagmeni area, reopened its doors for the winter season on 25 October with a whole new set of tantalizing dishes.

Chef Panagiotis Yiakalis maintains the restaurant’s good fame and creates exquisite dishes with his personal selection of locally sourced products and fine ingredients. He insists on placing an emphasis on simplicity and detail and uniquely combines the Mediterranean and international cuisines with an outstanding result.

Recommended dishes include the handmade fresh pasta in creamy soft mizithra cheese with the rooster cooked in wine and the barley pasta kritharoto in beetroot teamed with smoked mackerel from Chalkidiki and a light garlic cream.

The restaurant’s enriched wine list includes wines from Greek producers, but also a selection of labels deriving from international vineyards.

Prices range from 38 to 45 euros per person.
