Greece Has Historic Month Of October 2013 Arrivals

arrivalsGreece experienced its best October of all time last month in terms of international arrivals to the country’s airports, according to the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE).

International arrivals to Greece in October jumped 21.52 percent compared to 2012.

During the January-October 2013 period, international arrivals to Greece’s main airports recorded a double-digit increase of 10.93 percent compared with the same period of the previous year, data provided by SETE showed.

The Greek capital welcomes more arrivals

Also, destination Athens is on its way of making a comeback, SETE noted.

International arrivals to Athens International Airport in October increased by 13.24 percent while during the 10 first months of the year – and for the first time – the total of arrivals recorded an increase of 1.26 percent.
