On behalf of Poseidonion Grand Hotel, Communication Lab won the “Best International Hotel Marketing” award and also came in first place in two other categories: “Best Hotel Marketing Europe” and “Best Hotel Marketing Greece.” According to an international panel of judges, which included Sir David Michels, president of the Hilton Foundation, Communication Lab came in first place for its strategy and communication actions in print and electronic media, social media, media relations and strengthening and managing of a brand name. Communication Lab has been handling the brand management, PR, marketing and communication of the Poseidonion Grand Hotel since 2009. During this time, the hotel and Spetses Island have been honored with numerous awards and have received mass international promotion including over 1,000 reports in Greek and foreign media. Other promotional actions for the Poseidonion include an interactive social media presence along with the publication of the cookbook “Sweets and treats from the kitchen of Poseidonion Grand Hotel,” the short stories publication “It happened on Spetses” and the special wedding edition “Little Book of Weddings.” Over 2,000 hotels from six regions (Europe, Americas, Africa, Arabia, Asia-Pacific, UK) attended the International Hotel Awards ceremony.
