Philoxenia 2013 greeting.

Dear friends, colleagues and associates,

I welcome you to the 29th International Tourism Exhibition Philoxenia 2013, which once again stays true to its rendezvous with tourism professionals and people who love to travel. Philoxenia is reopening its doors to guide us to the global tourism market.

The Macedonia-Thrace Travel Agencies Association, of which I am honored to be President of, each year, takes part dynamically in Philoxenia, either as a body or through each member individually. The association’s members support the sector’s exhibitions and consider them very important to get informed on the tourism sector and also network with colleagues and counterparts from the tourism industry across the globe.

After a promising summer and an autumn that allows us to be optimistic, we are pleased to say that the tourism boom in our city is on a very positive path and we have very good results in terms of development and extraversion that are  necessary for the development of tourism for each region. The love to explore and getting to know something new and different are necessary ingredients for the success of every trip.

And this is the main concern of our members. To provide services that aim for each journey to be a life experience, something difficult to achieve if the public does not trust the travel agent that organizes the trip.

This is our message. By supporting and choosing to travel with the assistance of a travel agent, the success of your trip is ensured.
