The presentation was made by a representative of Amphitrion who promoted Greece as an agritourism destination while highlighting the company’s expertise, services and special programs that demonstrate modern Greece’s agricultural spirit and culture. Τhe International Agritourism Convention is organized by ATOI (Agricultural Tour Operators International) and takes place every two years. During the convention, professionals are given the opportunity to discuss and exchange views and ideas on issues related to this sector of tourism, a sector that is growing vastly. ATOI is a group of professional tour operators with members in over 30 countries worldwide and offers agricultural tours, technical programs and conferences. Membership places emphasis on meeting stringent quality standards and skills. Amphitrion is the only Greek tour operator that is a member of ATOI, a membership awarded four years ago. “This is a major success for Amphitrion but an even bigger success for Greece as this is a unique opportunity to promote a side of our country and way of living that is not very well known abroad,” Amphitrion said in an announcement.
