Athens Airport Donates €100,000 To ELPIDA

AIA_elpidaAthens International Airport (AIA) has donated 100,000 euros to the ELPIDA Association of Friends of Children with Cancer.

AIA’s CEO Yiannis Parashis recently visited the “Marianna V. Vardinoyannis-ELPIDA Children’s Oncology Unit” to make the donation that will cover a significant proportion of the costs of the guest house run by the association.

The ELPIDA guest house is a second home for children suffering from cancer and transferred to Athens to be hospitalized.

The president of the association and UNESCO Good Will Ambassador, Marianna V. Vardinoyannis thanked Mr. Parashis for the airport’s very generous gesture.
