olga_IMG_4420The Greek Tourism Ministry and the Union of Hellenic Chambers agreed on 19 November to create a joint committee and conduct meetings on a regular basis to establish their cooperation on tourism issues.

In a meeting with the union’s president, Konstantinos Michalos, Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni requested from the Union of Hellenic Chambers to do its part to develop tourism and increase the flow of tourists to Greece.

Mrs. Kefalogianni made particular reference to the ministry’s efforts to extend Greece’s tourism season until the end of the year and highlighted the need for the union’s support.

On his part, Mr. Michalos submitted the union’s proposals that aim for a better performance of the Greek tourism product and the best possible benefits for Greek society and entrepreneurship.
