Trade Associations - Gov Kefalogianni To Attend Special Event For Greek Tourism In Turkey, Meet With Officials by GTP editing team 26 November 2013 written by GTP editing team 26 November 2013 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 22 Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni will begin a two-day visit to Istanbul, Turkey, from Tuesday 26 November, to promote Greece and attend a special event dedicated to Greek tourism. On Wednesday 27 November, Mrs. Kefalogianni will meet with the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Abdurrahman Arici. Later in the day she will attend a special event dedicated to Greek tourism and especially the country’s gastronomy and city break destinations. Taking into account the tourism minister’s recent announcement on the opening of a Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) branch in Istanbul, a Greek tourism attaché in Istanbul will be announced. The tourism attaché will see to further develop bilateral tourism relations between Greece and Turkey. Mrs. Kefalogianni’s agenda also includes a visit to the Orthodox Church where she will be accepted by the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. On Thursday 28 November, the tourism minister will attend a meeting with the Minister of State for European Affairs Egemen Bagis.
