Culinary Greek Tastes & Christmas Fun At Food Festival In Athens by GTP editing team 28 November 2013 written by GTP editing team 28 November 2013 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 20 A total of 150 small Greek producers, 1,200 handpicked products, events that include cooking classes by famous chefs, food and wine tastings, Greek Christmas meals and Christmas shopping are just some of the activities visitors at the upcoming food festival “Greece, Celebration – Tastes – Christmas 2013” will experience at the Helexpo exhibition center in Marousi, Athens. The festival will open its doors on Friday 29 November and give guests the opportunity to sample and purchase quality food products of Greek entrepreneurs and producers. “Greece, Celebration – Tastes – Christmas 2013” will also bring Christmas spirit to the Greek capital. A a series of activities are scheduled to take place during the weekend following the festival’s opening. Cyclades Region: Honored Destination The Region of Cyclades will be the honored Greek destination at the food festival. Twenty-five local producers from the Cyclades island group will be hosted at the stand of the Cyclades Chamber of Commerce, which represents 17,000 companies-members located on 24 islands of the group. The Cyclades stand will be located in a central area within the exhibition hall. The “Greece, Celebration – Tastes – Christmas 2013” food festival will wrap up on 1 December 2013.
