“Mythical Peloponnese” Comes To Athens

Mythical_PeloponnesePeloponnese_IMG_0776_1The Region of Peloponnese will showcase some of its finest products in Athens in an exhibition of traditional Peloponnese culture-tourism products.

The “Mythical Peloponnese” exhibition will be held by the region for the second consecutive year in downtown Athens at Klafthmonos Square in cooperation with the Chambers of Arcadia, Argolis, Corinth, Laconia, Messinia, Achaia and Ilia.

For four days, 5-8 December 2013, producers from across the Peloponnese will exhibit their products and give visitors the opportunity to make purchases at discounted prices.

Peloponnese Prefect Petros Tatoulis will inaugurate the exhibition on Thursday, 5 December at 6:30 pm. The Greek ministers of Rural Development, Athanasios Tsaftaris, and Tourism, Olga Kefalogianni, have been invited to attend.

The 4-day exhibition will include a cooking show (Peloponnese traditional dishes) and a presentation of the Peloponnesian Greek breakfast. A night of traditional music, open to the public, will also take place.
