The agreement covers Olympic Air flights in the following 11 Greek airports: Athens, Alexandroupolis, Zakynthos, Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Karpathos, Paros, Rhodes, Skiathos, Samos and Chios. Through this cooperation with Olympic Air, Goldair hired 270 workers in Athens and the Greek regions. “This agreement is very important and symbolic for us, firstly, because of the historical significance of Olympic Airways and, secondly, because Goldair Handling continues to help provide employment,” the CEO of Goldair Handling, Dimitris Papamichail, said. Goldair Handling operates in 26 Greek airports, 2 airports in Cyprus (Larnaca & Paphos) and 2 airports in Bulgaria (Sofia & Burgas) and currently employs 2,500 employees in Greece and 620 employees abroad.
