Greek Yachting Professionals Form New Association

GYA_LogoA number of Greek yachting professionals involved in the Charter, Brokerage, Management, Insurance and Construction of large yachts recently announced the establishment of the Greek Yachting Association (GYA).

Currently the association and its members represent over 90 percent of the crewed charter yachts in Greece under central agency agreement.

The objective of the GYA is to:

  • maintain high standards of professionalism in charter, sales and yacht management
  • closely cooperate with the MYBA worldwide yachting association as MYBA members and MYBA companies
  • organize an annual charter yacht show for the Greek and foreign flag charter yachts, under Central Agency Agreement.

Nafplion, Greece, To Host Yacht Show In May 2014

The GYA has also announced that it will hold a new luxury yacht charter show named the “Mediterranean Yacht Show” in the historic town of Nafplion, Greece, from 3 to 7 May 2014. The yacht show will be open to both Greek and foreign flag charter yachts.
