The Municipality of Hersonissos recently wished the world a Happy New Year with the launch of a new promotional video of the destination’s beaches and leisure tourism options.

The video highlights the natural beauty of the municipality’s coastline and presents a series of recreational activities that guests will find once they visit Hersonissos: museums, archaeological sites, entertainment, sports, water sports, golf, hiking, scuba diving, horseback riding, etc.

The promotional video is entitled “Hersonissos Crete: Land of Beaches and Experiences” and is the second in a series recently launched by the municipality. The first video “The Power of Legacy” was released in October 2013 and includes footage of all the hidden treasures deep in the main land that awaits to be discovered.

The videos are a production of Blueroom and includes photo shots of Norwegian photographer Stian Rekdal who has used the time-lapse photography technique.
