The Armonia Atenea orchestra, headed by Greek conductor George Petrou, with soprano Myrsini Margariti and mezzos Mary-Ellen Nesi and Irini Karagianni presented a program that focused on baroque operas whose subject matter is taken from Greek mythology. The concert was an initiative of the Greek Permanent Representation to the EU and the Embassy of Greece in Brussels, and funded by the Greek Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
