The spa came in first place in the categories: Best Spa Hotel/Resort: Greece and Best European Spa for Incentive Breaks. The awards reveal the ultimate spa destinations around the world as voted for by The Spa Traveller website’s visitors. “The name of Anazoe Spa is derived from the (Greek) word for rejuvenation and encapsulates the underlying aim of the spa, total revitalization of body and spirit in accordance with the (ancient Greek) maxim a healthy mind in a healthy body,” said the spas director, Dora Koromila. “At Anazoe we offer a complete rejuvenation experience that soothes the spirit and revitalizes the body,” she added. New treatments for 2014 In 2014, the Anazoe Spa will expand its services and introduce new relaxing and rejuvenating treatments based on local ingredients and ancient Greek practices like Anazoe Grape Seed Scrub and Anazoe Sea Water Treatments respectively. For the scrub treatment, grapes from the Navarino Vineyards will be used while treatments with sea water – specifically designed to offer a total wellness experience – will unfold the beneficial effect of water. In addition, Anazoe Spa will introduce a series of outdoor treatments such as the “Selene” Moonlight Massage and the Outdoor Herbal Experience with the use local herbs.
